THE ROLE OF GREECE AS A LEADING NAVAL POWER

1st Conference of the Hellenic Shipowners’ Association of Tugs, Salvage, Antipollution and Offshore Support Vessels brings to the fore a key sector for safety, environmental protection and support of the maritime economy.

Through four targeted modules — from tugboats and rescue vessels to anti-pollution and offshore activity — a substantive dialogue is opened on the practical issues and strategic needs of the sector.

The Conference is also a first step towards redefining Greece’s role as a leading naval power, at a time when Greek seas are acquiring new geopolitical and developmental weight.
